The big ones are trekking the rice terraces around Sapa, kayaking and cave exploring in Ha Long Bay, and the boat-and-climb combo at Trang An and Mua Cave in Ninh Binh. Further afield you've got caving in Phong Nha, the Ha Giang motorbike loop, and canyoning in Dalat. We build the trip around how active you want to be.
Our adventure trips focus on the scenic north and centre: Sapa for mountain trekking, Ninh Binh for limestone karsts and caves, and Ha Long Bay for cruising and kayaking. Most itineraries pair these with Hanoi, Da Nang and Hue, and the longer ones add Nha Trang or Ho Chi Minh City. Packages run from 5 to 14 nights.
Sapa is the headline, with terraced valleys, Hmong villages and the Fansipan peak. For tougher, less-crowded routes, Ha Giang and Pu Luong are superb. Ninh Binh offers shorter, rewarding climbs like the steps up Mua Cave for the valley view. We match the trek to your fitness level, from gentle valley walks to full-day hikes.
Yes. Nha Trang is the main hub, with easy snorkelling and beginner dives around Hon Mun island. Phu Quoc has good diving in the An Thoi archipelago, and Con Dao is the standout for experienced divers and clearer water. We can add a diving or snorkelling day to any itinerary that includes these spots.
Most of our adventures suit anyone reasonably active. Sapa treks can be gentle valley walks or full-day hikes, and the Fansipan peak is reached by cable car, so no climbing required. Tell us your comfort level and we'll match the intensity rather than overpush it.
Good broken-in shoes, quick-dry clothing, a light rain jacket, a warm layer for Sapa's cool evenings, sunscreen, and a small daypack. For caves and boats, sandals with grip help. We send a tailored packing list once your itinerary is set.
Yes. Treks, cave visits and boat tours come with local guides who speak English and know the terrain, which matters for both safety and the stories behind each place. Private guiding can be arranged if you'd prefer not to share.
Mostly, yes. A local SIM (Viettel has the best reach) gives you strong 4G in towns including Sapa. Coverage thins out in deep valleys and on some trails, which is part of the charm. Hotels and homestays generally have Wi-Fi.
Strongly recommended. For trekking, caving and water activities, insurance that covers adventure sports and medical evacuation is worth having. We'll remind you to arrange it and can point you in the right direction, though you buy the policy directly.
