Arrive at Hanoi's Noi Bai Airport (HAN), clear immigration and meet your driver for the private transfer into the city. The package schedule is built around an 11:00 am landing.
Hanoi Hotel Check-in
Check in to Hanoi La Storia Hotel or similar at 2:00 pm. This hotel is your base for three of the four nights, with one night spent on the Halong Bay cruise.
Ba Dinh Square & One Pillar Pagoda
The city tour leaves at 3:00 pm by private car. Ba Dinh Square is where Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence in 1945, and the mausoleum and the One Pillar Pagoda stand in the same complex. The mausoleum is seen from outside, as it admits visitors only in the morning.
Temple of Literature & Old Quarter
The Temple of Literature dates from 1070 and later housed Vietnam's first national academy. The tour closes at Sword Lake and the Old Quarter, where the evening is yours.

DAY02
Ninh Binh
Day 2 - Ninh Binh Day Trip & Tam Coc Boat Ride
Tam Coc Boat Ride
A shared coach collects you at 7:30 am for the two hour run south to Ninh Binh. A rower takes two passengers at a time along the Ngo Dong River, through three caves cut into the karst, with paddy fields on either bank.
Lunch & Bich Dong Pagoda
Lunch is included and is served in Ninh Binh. Bich Dong Pagoda is built into the hillside on three levels, and the upper shrine is reached by stone steps.
Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
Hoa Lu served as Vietnam's capital for the Dinh and early Le dynasties. The stop covers the two royal temples on the old citadel grounds. You are back at the Hanoi hotel by about 7:00 pm.

Halong Bay
Day 3 - Halong Bay Overnight Cruise
Cruise Check-in & Lunch
Breakfast and checkout are at 8:30 am, then a shared coach runs to the Halong pier. You board the overnight cruise and lunch is served on deck as the boat leaves the harbour.
Sung Sot Cave
Sung Sot, the Cave of Surprises, sits on Bo Hon Island and is the largest grotto in the bay. The visit is a walk through two linked chambers on a lit path with steps.
Luon Cave Kayaking & Titop Island
The afternoon covers kayaking and swimming at the Luon Cave lagoon, then a stop at Titop Island, where a stepped climb reaches the viewpoint over the bay.
Dinner & Squid Fishing
Dinner is served on board at 7:00 pm. Squid fishing from the deck and the evening entertainment programme follow, and you sleep on the boat.

Halong Bay
Day 4 - Cruise Morning & Return to Hanoi
Breakfast & Cruise Checkout
Breakfast is served on the boat and cabin checkout is at 8:00 am. The cruise continues its morning programme before returning to the pier.
Return Drive to Hanoi
A shared coach brings you back to Hanoi in the afternoon. Hotel check-in is scheduled for 5:30 pm, and this is your fourth night in the city.
Evening at Leisure
The evening is free for the Old Quarter night market and the shops around Hoan Kiem Lake. Dinner is not included.

Day 5 - Hanoi Departure
