Vietnam Itinerary 10 Days: Hanoi, Halong Bay, Da Nang and Saigon
9 Nights / 10 Days
4 Cities
First-Time Visitors & Families
3★ Hotels & Overnight Cruise
10 days is enough to see Vietnam properly if you fly the long legs, and this 10-day Vietnam itinerary does exactly that. You start in the north with three nights in Hanoi, a day out to Ninh Binh and a night on a Halong Bay cruise. A short flight takes you to Da Nang for Hoi An's old town and the Golden Bridge, then a second flight drops you in Saigon for the Cu Chi Tunnels and a day on the Mekong. The route runs one way, north to south, so you fly into Hanoi and out of Ho Chi Minh City without doubling back. Hotels, the cruise, sightseeing and transfers inside Vietnam are part of the package, while international flights from India are booked separately.

Ba Dinh Square & One Pillar Pagoda
The city tour leaves at 3:00 pm by private car. Ba Dinh Square is where Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence in 1945, and the mausoleum and the One Pillar Pagoda stand in the same complex. The mausoleum is seen from outside, as it admits visitors only in the morning.
Temple of Literature & Old Quarter
The Temple of Literature dates from 1070 and later housed Vietnam's first national academy. The tour closes at Sword Lake and the Old Quarter.
