A Glimpse Into Da Nang: Beachside or City Centre?

Where should you stay in Da Nang? You are in a moment when you have to pick between the beachside and the city centre is the most confusing time of all.

Well, both are great options. Da Nang has an incredible place in every corner, offering the best of both worlds: lively nightlife and calm beach vibes, all in one.

Still, by the end of the day, you need to pick a place. And, for first-time travellers, they offer a variety of places to stay that can be both exciting and overwhelming.

And when there is a beach, of course, many would prefer to stay in a beachfront hotel. But is it convenient to explore other parts of Da Nang?

That is what I am going to explain and give you reasons for the pros and cons-

Area Pros Cons
City Centre Near the airport, railway station, and bus stations. Limited beach access.
Great for shopping, local markets, and food stalls. It can be crowded and noisy, especially during festivals and rush hours
Home to the Han River, museums, pagodas, and local culture. Not ideal for a relaxed, resort-style stay
Beach Side Direct beach access. Ideal for sunbathing, swimming, and surfing. Less cultural interaction—many places cater to tourists.
Home to many high-end resorts and sea-facing hotels. Restaurants and stores tend to be pricier.
More relaxed vibe compared to the city Limited local markets or authentic street food options are available.
