Shares

Thailand has many things to offer, and for starters, it is not just Bangkok or any other city in Thailand that gives off only party vibes. I even thought the exact same things about the country before I went.

Coming all the way to the south, you have stunning islands. I have made the right choice in spending my time here. With all the errors and trials I made, I am now prepared to give you a well-structured Phuket Krabi itinerary.

When I was there, I was surprised by so many things. On the first day, I was totally stunned by the views of turquoise blue water and met people who had come here from different parts of the world.

This is definitely one of the best off-beat places I have visited. I know my experience can help a few of you guys with making your Phuket and Krabi itinerary.

Budgeting for Phuket and Krabi Itinerary

If you don’t have an estimate or a budget when planning a trip, you will end up spending more. Or miss out on spending at the right places. Therefore, a budget plan for Thailand is essential to keep track of your expenses.

I spent around 55,000 INR on my trip for a Phuket Krabi itinerary. The cost changes based on each person’s lifestyle changes.

I know that for an international trip, this cost comes under everyone’s budget. You would be shocked to know the places I visited in Phuket. Plus, I managed to do all the best things in Krabi as well.

Expenses in My Trip: Split Cost

Even though I just spent under 55,000 INR, you can still spend less or more. If you are going with a plus one, you can book a hotel and split the cost, which will be even more budget-friendly.

Flight Cost:

I spent 19,000 INR for a round-trip flight.

I couldn’t believe I could get my flights under 20,000 INR. For this, you need to book at least 3-4 weeks in advance. At times, you may also find that immediate flights, booked a few days or a week before your trip, can cost as little as 8,000 INR for one way. You need to compare before booking and be prepared.

Accommodation Cost:

I paid 8,500 INR for a 6-day stay.

I stayed in a backpacker’s hostel, which was super convenient. It was budget-friendly, and as a solo traveller, I got to meet a lot of other solo travellers in the backpacker hostels.

There are many great places to stay in Phuket, just check the rating, and if the reviews are not bad, you are good to go.

Food & Snacks:

I ate many dishes for just 5,500 INR for 6 days.

Of course, with less budget, I choose to eat at all the local restaurants that serve authentic Thai food. By the end of my trip, I started craving some Biryani and missed my home-cooked food.

So, I found many Indian restaurants in Krabi and Phuket that saved my taste buds.

Transportation cost:

Throughout the trip, I needed only 4,850 INR to travel within the country.

I rented a motorbike from Som Motorbike Rental Phuket for a day, which was 650 INR. And booked Grab at times, which came around 1,500 INR. The major cost was the ferry to Krabi, which was 2,700 INR.

Luckily, most places are within walking distance, and I explored on foot. So, it was a good little adventure.

Note: You need to keep your international driving license if you rent a vehicle.

Sightseeing & Activities:

It costs me approximately 13,500 INR to explore three islands.

For three days, I booked three different tours. With this cost, I was able to explore caves and limestone cliffs, as well as participate in various water activities. Additionally, transportation was provided through pickup and drop-off services, as well as lunch.

This is how much I spend on Island Tours,

  • Phi Phi Island trip – 4,500 INR (approximately)
  • James Bond Island Trip – 4,000 INR (approximately)
  • 7 Island Tour – 5,000 INR (approximately)

Souvenirs Shopping:

I just spent 2,000 INR on shopping and got 7 different items for me and my family.

When it comes to shopping, Thailand has the best markets. And in Phuket and Krabi, I found so many cheap markets and ended up buying so many things.
